The New Kid ~ Anonymous

    Ringggg, ringgg. The school bell rings, at this point everyone is walking toward their class. Marbelly is fighting with Lisseth because she let her borrow her iPod and erase most of her songs. The teacher walks in and starts the lecture and tells the girl’s to leave their argument for later, although they don’t agree with him they follow his instructions. 
    The room get’s quiet everyone is doing their silent reading. The doors open all of the sudden and in front of them is a little girl like about thirteen years-old, with long black hair, wearing a long blue skirt, and a white collar shirt. She walks in and hands a paper to the teacher, the teacher stands up and says “ladies and gentlemen we have a new student, please welcome Junitsia, she just moved from Guatemala and I expect all of you to give her a warm welcome.”
     Marbelly and Lisseth just look at her and roll their eyes, thinking “what a geek”. Junitsia walk’s forward to take a seat, she seats down and looks around everything is so different to her, the way they dress, the way they talk and she thinks  to her self, what am I doing her I don’t belong there’s no way I can pass this grade if I don’t understand what the teacher is saying.
      By lunch time Marbelly and Lisseth had realize that Junitsia didn’t speak English and spotted in her an opportunity to have some fun, they walk up to her and speak to her in Spanish, they tell her that they can be the best friends in the whole world, Junitsia is very innocent and believes every single word that they tell her.
     When they are in math class the girls realize that the time for fun has come. They walk up to Junitsia and tell her that to say hello I’m new to your class in English she had to tell him you are the most stupid person I’ve ever met, Junitsia gets up and tells him that, of curse you know what happen next.
     The teacher got furious, and send her to the office. When the principal was speaking to Junitsia he realize that she couldn’t understand him so she probably didn’t know what she was telling the teacher either, so she let her go and told her to never say what people tell her unless she is 100% sure of what it means.
     With this said Junitsia head back of class, and stayed away from Marbelly and Lisseth for the rest of the day. When Junitsia got home she locked herself in her room, all she did was to think what did she do to those girls, because what they did to her was something so strange for her, she has never seen them before, but why did they treat her like this, that question went by her head for thousands of times, but she never found an answer.
     The next day Junitsia woke up and thought that school was going to be nightmare, what she didn’t know was that for every mean girl in school there has to be a nice girl at least. She walks in to school lost in her world, and all of the sudden… she bump into this girl and she just looked at her eyes, they shined  like the sun on a desert, like the moon on the darkest night  and in that moment she realize that a person with that kind of shine in their eyes couldn’t be bad.
     The girl stands up and helps Junitsia get up, she tells her ” hi my name is Esperanza.” Junitsia looks at her and she thinks could it be, is she a sign of hope, is there really a hope for me in this zoo? Suddenly Junitsia heard a voice that said Earth to Junitsia, Earth to Junitsia. Bang, Junitsia crash to back to Earth.
     And she realize that she had bump into her and she tells her ” I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to bump into you, sorry.” Esperanza looks at her and she tells her “It’s ok, don’t stress for no reason,” Junitsia looks at her and thinks to herself “for no reason, this women needs to chilax, she may be the hope I was looking for, but no one calls me a stress out girl, I’m trying to be nice but I had it already, now they are going to meet the dark side of me.
     Junitsia walks past Esperanza without saying bye, she walks straight up to Marbelly and Lisseth and a vision of her poking their eyes, but even if dark Junitsia wouldn’t have such hard-heart, so she thought it would be more fun to ruin MRS. POPULARITIES and their reputation.
     That night Junitsia didn’t sleep, because she was to busy thinking about the terrible things she would do to MRS. POPULARITIES, and she came up with the most cold plan ever, she was going to spill ice on their clothes then they were on the locker rooms.
     In the morning of the next day Junitsia fills up a big bottle of water with ice, for Junitsia’s luck it was freezing outside. So she got to school and after her P.E class when she was changing, she saw Marbelly and Lisseth changing and she spilled the ice all over them, although it looked like an accident it was totally a wicked plan.
     You can imagine how they felt when they had to go outside and get to their next class, first of all it looked like they had pee on them self and second of all it was cold water and it was cold outside, poor babies, “guess payback is always sweater than I imagine,” though Junitsia. 
     For Junitsia next step into learning and surviving in the zoo was to look for her Esperanza, she looked and she looked, but she never found her, until she had given up she sees her walk by and stops her, she asks her if she wants hang out with her, and be her friend. 
     Esperanza looks at her with a sad face and she tells her, ” I’m sorry, I don’t know how you manage to make everything like an accident, I know that what happen to those girls in the locker rooms wasn’t an accident, I personally am not interested on being friends with someone so mean like you, when I first met you I thought you were different but it turns out that you are as mean as those girls.”
     Esperanza walked away and Junitsia just sat down on the floor and she realize that without knowing she became exactly like Lisseth and Marbelly, and she realize that by getting revenge because of something someone did to you, what’s really happening is that you are hurting yourself.
     The purpose of this story was to make you think over before planning on getting back on someone because the one that is going to get hurt is really you.
